Instructional Design Project
How to Use Cartoons to Facilitate Difficult Conversations in the Workplace
Project Overview
This project was created for my graduate course ETEC 650 – Fundamentals of Instructional Design (Fall 2024). It combines my experience as a comic creator with my background in workplace communication. Through sharing comics on social media, I saw how cartoons can ease tension, spark empathy, and make sensitive topics approachable. My professional experience also revealed that miscommunication—especially across departments—is both common and costly.
To address this, I designed a 30-minute online training module for a virtual North American tech company, showing how cartoons can be used as a tool to bridge communication gaps and foster more effective collaboration.
Evaluating Parent-Focused Social Programs: Building Stronger Communities at C.A.M.E.
Project Overview
This case study showcases my evaluation plan developed in Fall 2024 for the course 636: Evaluation in Education and Training at Concordia University. The project focused on Centre d’Animation Mère-Enfant (C.A.M.E.), a community center in Saint Bruno, Quebec. The evaluation aimed to assess whether parent-focused social programs effectively reduced isolation, strengthened social networks, and improved family well-being. Using a mixed-methods approach—surveys, focus groups, interviews, and cost-benefit analysis—the plan provided evidence-based insights to guide program improvements and support long-term sustainability.
Infographic & Job Aid
Transforming instructional design at Duolingo
Project Overview
As part of Course 665 Digital Media for Education (Fall 2025) at Concordia University, I designed an infographic and job aid on the theme AI & Instructional Materials.
The project simulated a scenario where I served as the lead instructional designer at Duolingo, tasked with:
Infographic: showing how AI can be effectively integrated into instructional material design, including tasks, methods, and ethical guidelines.
Job Aid: highlighting one AI tool (excluding ChatGPT), explaining its unique features, and demonstrating how it supports the instructional design process.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
Air Canada Code of Conduct Learning Product
Project Overview
In Course 665 Digital Media for Education (Fall 2025) at Concordia University, I will design and develop a learning program based on the Air Canada Code of Conduct.
The project required transforming official reports and written materials into an interactive e-learning experience using Articulate (Storyline and/or Rise), while following Air Canada’s visual identity and branding guidelines.
The project will be uploaded in December.

Word Play: Visual Puns for French Learning
Background
This illustration series began in 2020, when I playfully turned French vocabulary into visual puns. What started as a fun experiment soon gained popularity on social media.
It showed me how visual storytelling makes abstract concepts concrete, joyful, and memorable—principles I now bring into Instructional Design to engage learners, lower barriers, and create human-centred learning experiences.
